SIGG Bottles

The Limited Edition SIGG Vivienne Westwood bottle.

It's undeniable how much of a negative effect plastic bottles have on our environment. I know this. And yet I was a little, if not very, late to the reusable water bottle party. Wanting to rectify the situation, a little research was undertaken and eventually I decided upon SIGG as my brand of choice. Perhaps surprising for a fashion writer, I chose the original SIGG 0.6L bottle. No patterns, no bells, no whistles, just the classic. The Audrey Hepburn of SIGGs if you will.

A couple of months on and it's quite hard to remember life pre-SIGG. But whilst I'm grateful for the hardy nature of my Swiss-made bottle, I'm a little perturbed that due to the 'forever' nature of the product I won't have the opportunity to purchase this Vivienne Westwood Limited Edition design with a clear conscience. But luckily for those even more late to the party than I, you can buy this latest design online for £18 or in Vivienne Westwood stores. It's the second collaboration between SIGG and the Grande Dame of Fashion herself and if you can't afford one of her bustier dresses then this is the way to sample some of the great lady's design pedigree, whilst helping the environment along the way.
